I DID SOME SEWING

Hello World

You are not going to believe it - I DID SOME SEWING LAST NIGHT

Thanks to Babs who is helping me make some sexy viking. In normal Dave fashion he then proceeded to tease me that I hadnt actually done any sewing (ie the sewing machine stayed in the box) but I have cut my whole apron out and its all ready to start on tonight. What he doesnt get is that it took me months to simply cut out my other dresses. (Sorry Jane Doe haha) but that obviously means im improving to get it cut out in 25 mins

THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Love Bronwyn

Yay for sewing!! And yay I've found your blog! (Thanks, Persi, the baby with the useful links!) I've been thinking about you a lot lately but failed to email due to partial stupid techy issues and majority me being crap and knackered. But yay frock!!

Hi There!

Not that Im one of those crazy bragging aunties but she is pretty cool and very useful haha!

I hope all your techy issues get sorted and I hope you being knackered soon stops!!

I found my linen for the tunic today - bad babs for taking me shopping haha. I cannot wait to take Jane Doe shopping at DKs here - its amazing haha. You will have to get J to win crown again (or any other excuse to come over again just if you havent seen adelaide enough) so I can take you to this shop its heaps choice!!

To keep you updated Peddles got work in Roxby (permanately) so he has stayed up there and I am joining him 22nd October - which means I will finally get to live my dream of driving trucks lol IM SUCH A GIRLY GIRL!

It was great hearing from you!

Yay trucks! Yay Roxby! Except boo hiss not being able to catch up with you easily at the end of a flight!

Yes, we will need to mount an Adelaide raid, I am practically out of Mrs Lee's beady bits, for a strat, and I need silk brocade. People have actually started to pay me for my huge amounts of work, which is a nice change, and so flights are no longer a scary prospect.

Sew Bron! Sew like the wind!

Persi actually looks a bit like you, which was amusing and cool. She is actually smarter than the average baby and was amusing herslef the last time I saw her by throwing things out onto the footpath as Finn and I carried her car cot, which made us look dumb because we failed to notice any of them. Evil, yet brilliantly so.

I will have to win cron for J, but we can just come to Adelaide anyway, don't wish reigning on us!

You sewed? Bronny, I'm so proud! As soon as I get the phone on, I'll give you a call. You have to tell me everything that's going on with you, at the moment.

Isn't "sexy viking" an oxymoron?

I'll echo miss d and say Yay for sewing! Not that I've been doing much lately - my sewing machine's gathering dust! But (just between you and me) we're both doing better than Jane, who is totally slack, and is NEVER going to finish her yellow dress! But don't tell her I said so! he he.

Hope you're doing super-duper, girl. Keep smiling!

Miss D - I would never wish reigning on anyone (not after the first time anyway - Ive heard the horror stories haha) Im glad its not toooo hard to convince you on the fabric shopping though!

Now to Jane Doe & Hunydd - you horrible women haha I get the feeling you are teasing me about my viking mmmmm?? hehe. I feel secure in myself though as it was Laela who told me I had to get back to the basics to move on stronger, leaner, and meaner as a sewererer so :P haha. Just because I interpreted that into viking rather than other earlier stuff *Im looking very innocent here :)*

I think we need to start attending "guilty sewers anonymous" for not getting into our stuff though!!

And as Jane Doe and I freaked out last night about is....approx 5 months till festival!!!

Well sweetie, whilst i'm cooking you dinner tonight, I guess you can do some more sewing, need to finish that viking, before you move away......except all that embroidery your going to be doing on it whilst in roxby, or are you going to get on the treadmill and do some walking.......haha, bet your wishing you hadn't told me about your blog!
Seriously though we should do something whilst we are sitting on our butts watching tv at night.

I will take sewing ANY DAY over exercising haha! I would love to cut out my tunic tonight and maybe be a bit out there and cut the chemise as well.....I have the material out ready (nothing else is organised in the room haha) however I have to go and buy cotton to sew it all together - I think I have white for the chemise but will have to go and find the blue.

And no I am not unhappy that I told you about the blog - you will become Jane Doe's new bestest friend eva as you can get me into sewing mode as she knows everyone will tease me if I dont end up doing it haha

I cant wait to finish work today!! And PS I promise I will clean my joggers off and get on that treadmill (but so not tonight haha)

Speaking of which, is that stuff I sent you suitable? Oh and I have some braid here for you too that you might be able to use. Will send it on down!

Sewing is for girls. You'll never take me alive!

Hey Sair!

The material is lovely! It is absolutely wonderful and perfect for what I need. Babs and I spent time last taking it in turns to rub it against our cheeks cos its so soft (ok so it was mostly me haha) We did the thread test and everything - im learning heaps!! The braid sounds fantastic I would love it but only if you promise me you wont need/use it for anything??
